Locations???

Hey everyone! Just wondering if anybody can help me come up with some fun shooting locations between Farmington & Salt Lake City? I live in Lehi so I'm in need of some places up north to keep in mind when shooting up there. I've got a family shoot on Saturday that I'm thinking I'd like to do up in that area, so I'd really appreciate your ideas! :) Thanks loads!!!

Thats a hard one, i wish i had more location choices close by =) I would try memory grove in downtown slc, city creek canyon, in bountiful there is mueller park canyon, main street is fun. In bountiful there is also legacy pond you could try. Locations definitely something i struggle with lol.

Thanks Marissa! Those are great ideas! I didn't even think about Main Street being an option. Definitely some good options!

Funny thing. I was thinking of posting an entry getting ideas from everyone too. I have a few that I have used. Feel free to go to my blog and scroll down the right side, you will see locations. I post where all of my shoots are. Here are a few hot spots:

-Murray Park if your clients want flowers, trees, grass, river and bridge.
-Sugar Factory in West Jordan if your clients want Urban, warehouse, old bricks, etc.
-Daybreak Lake
-Butterfield Canyon
-Memory Grove

Here are a few on my list, but I haven't been to yet:
-Antelope Island
-Echo Resevoir
-Rockport Resevoir
-East Canyon State Park
-Park Meadows Country Club (Park City)
-Homestead in Midway
-Pineview Resevoir
-Silver Lake by Brighton Ski
-This is the Place
-Thanks Giving Point
-Red Butte Garden (by UofU)
-Sugar House Park
-East Canyon (up Parleys)
-Immigration Canyon
-The Grove (in Pleasant Grove)
-UofU
-Granite Park

Please let me know if you use any of these. I would like to see how they turn out.

If you need specific directions to any I have shot at, just ask me.

Good luck!

Wow these are awesome ideas!!! Thank you so much for posting! I ended up just using a little location here in Lehi just behind the Nook & Cranny antique shop on the State road. But I will definitely be referring to this list for future shoots! I'll post some pics in the next few days from the location I used today on my blog www.kimberliewilson.blogspot.com & if anyone is interested in using it, I can explain how to get there. It was a pretty fun spot (train tracks, old brick buildings, etc.). Anyway thanks again!!!
